Last week while dealing with something that I can only describe as the flu, I woke up to my neighbor knocking on the door to tell me my car was vandalized : ( It's not the first time my car has had some issues, but never anything like this. I was devastated. Someone had really gone to town on it...there were foot prints aaaall over the place like someone had been jumping on it, both doors on the drive's side, hood, and bumper were destroyed...then they covered it in garbage. Unfortunately, that day I was also supposed to meet one of my violin students in the city to look for violins! Something we had been so looking forward to doing together!! Needless to say I couldn't make it, and spent the day wait for the police to come file a report. Dear God, please protect the policeman of Philadelphia...they have quite an insane and dangerous job to do!
So we are here escaping from it all and its just what the doctor ordered...although we're still blowing our noses like it's never going to end. The sun will be setting soon, and I'm wondering whether or not to go out to buy some wine...hmmm but then I'd have to get up. #thestruggleisreal
